MIBR Part Ways with brnz4n After Five-Year Association

Brazilian esports powerhouse MIBR has officially called time on their association with rifler Breno “brnz4n” Poletto. The announcement marks the end of an era for the organization, closing the chapter on one of the longest tenures in modern Brazilian Counter-Strike.

From Academy Talent to Main Roster Anchor

brnz4n’s story with MIBR began in the organization’s developmental pipeline. Initially joining the MIBR Academy project, his sharp mechanical aim and game sense quickly caught the attention of the senior staff. After multiple high-pressure stand-in appearances, he earned a permanent promotion to the primary roster in mid-2022.

Over the years, the 21-year-old developed from an energetic young prospect into a battle-tested site anchor and secondary caller. Throughout his stint, brnz4n helped MIBR capture numerous regional South American titles and represented the tag on major international stages, including ESL Pro League, BLAST showdowns, and Major RMRs.

A Necessary Reset in Counter-Strike 2

The decision to part ways comes amid a competitive slump for MIBR in the Counter-Strike 2 circuit. Despite flashes of brilliance, the team struggled to consistently challenge tier-one European giants at top LAN events. With the competitive calendar heating up, management decided it was time for a fresh tactical direction.

MIBR has not yet unveiled brnz4n’s replacement, but reports suggest the team is exploring international and domestic talent to round out its starting five. Meanwhile, brnz4n enters free agency with five years of organizational experience and extensive tier-one LAN mileage, making him one of the most sought-after Brazilian riflers on the market.
